Three Kings Day Celebration
Each year on January 6, NACAW organizes and hosts an event with performers and entertainers for children and families, during which we give gifts to the children. This celebration marks Epiphany when the Three Wise Men brought gifts to the baby Jesus.
Prom Dress Drive and Donation
We are incredibly proud of this highly successful new initiative, introduced in 2024, and spearheaded and managed by our high school volunteer. We donated over 160 dresses to students which resulted in record ticket sales to Senior Prom. We look forward to continuing this new annual event.
Annual Mother’s Day luncheon
Celebrating Mother's Day and motherhood are central to our philosophy of supporting and empowering women to impact families in a positive way.
Annual Fundraising Gala
Our primary annual fundraiser, held in November each year, is a hugely popular celebration of Cuban food, music and culture.
Elena Maderos Award Dinner
Each year in March, NACAW awards this prize to one or more women to recognize their outstanding work for the community. The award is named after Elena Maderos, Cuban suffragist, feminist, human rights and women's rights activist, and founding Vice President of NACAW.
